What we do
MoorHub is an online directory and booking platform for long-stay boat moorings in the UK. We list marina berths, river moorings, canal moorings, tidal berths, and swinging moorings from operators across England, Scotland, and Wales.
Every listing includes standardised specifications — berth dimensions (length, beam, draught), available facilities (electricity, water, Wi-Fi, parking), mooring type, and pricing — so boat owners can compare options on equal terms rather than chasing operators for basic details.
Boat owners can search by location, filter by their vessel’s draft and beam, save favourites, and book directly through the platform. Some berths are listed at a fixed price; others are offered through competitive auctions where the highest bid at close secures the space.

Why MoorHub exists
Finding a long-stay mooring in the UK has historically meant cold-calling marinas, joining waiting lists with no visibility, or relying on word of mouth in boating communities. Pricing was opaque, specifications inconsistent, and the booking process entirely offline.
MoorHub exists to change that. By standardising how moorings are listed — with consistent specs, photos, and pricing — we make it possible for boat owners to compare options in minutes rather than weeks. And by bringing the booking process online, we remove friction for both sides of the market.
We built MoorHub for the UK’s permanent and long-stay boating community: sailors, narrowboaters, and motor boat owners who need a reliable berth for a season or longer — not a one-night visitor pontoon.
